3. Welfare support.

Staff support. Students have one or more member of staff they can turn to for guidance or with a problem. Designated members of staff are available to offer this support. There should be people outside of the college who students can contact with college problems.

Contact with family. Students should be able to contact their families in private.

Money and possessions. Each student should have a secure place to keep personal possessions safe e.g. a locker.

Arriving and leaving college. There is an induction process and guidance for students arriving at college and preparation prior to leaving.
