6. Staff and visitors.

Staff. There must always be a sufficient number of suitably qualified, competent and experienced staff working in a children's home.

All staff, including agency workers, must have been checked by the Criminal Records Bureau.

Any visitor to the home, who has not had a Criminal Records Bureau check should not be allowed unsupervised access to the home. A record of all visitors to the home must be kept.
